# Writing One Page That Persuades an Australian Buyer and Gives AI a Fact to Cite (Dual-Hook Framework)

**The Dual-Hook Framework is how Aemorph writes one page for two readers at once: the Australian buyer who has to trust the claim, and the AI system that has to lift a clean fact out of it.** Every main section opens with one sentence that persuades the person and states a fact that still makes sense read on its own. Australian buyers now meet AI-written summaries on Google, which [switched AI Overviews on across Australia on 29 October 2024](https://blog.google/intl/en-au/company-news/outreach-initiatives/ai-overviews-australia/), and in chat tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity. Those tools describe your business from many sources, and your website is only one of them.

## What This Solves for Australian Businesses

**Copy written only for people hides its key fact inside tone and story, and copy written only for machines reads flat to the Australian buyer you want to convert, so a page built for one reader loses the other.** A page tuned for the human spreads the fact across several sentences; a page tuned for the machine stacks short statements a person skims past.

The opening sentence of each main section carries both loads:

- **States** the claim in plain, readable prose, so the buyer reads it as a direct answer to the heading.
- **Isolates** the fact cleanly enough that a machine lifts the same claim out on its own.
- **Hands off** to the evidence straight away, so neither reader waits for the point.

### What the Dual-Hook Framework Means

**The framework is named for the two hooks each section needs at the same moment: one draws the human reader in with a specific, confident claim, and one hands the machine that same claim in a form it extracts cleanly.** Both hooks live in one opening sentence, not in two versions of the page. A person wants context and a reason to believe; a machine wants the claim itself, plainly stated.

One sentence serves all three search disciplines in Australia. [SEO](https://aemorph.com/en-au/glossary/#seo-search-engine-optimisation) (search engine optimisation) earns your place in the regular results on Google and Bing. [AEO](https://aemorph.com/en-au/glossary/#aeo-answer-engine-optimisation) (answer engine optimisation) gets you quoted in Google AI Overviews, featured snippets, answer boxes and voice search answers. [GEO](https://aemorph.com/en-au/glossary/#geo-generative-engine-optimisation) (generative engine optimisation) earns citations and mentions for your business inside ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, and GEO leads Aemorph's work.

The framework sits beside three related methods inside the [LLM Influencer System](https://aemorph.com/en-au/llm-influencer-system/), Aemorph's SEO, AEO and GEO programme: [filling every fact slot so no buyer question goes unanswered](https://aemorph.com/en-au/guides/eav-exhaustion-methodology/), [writing business facts the way machines read them](https://aemorph.com/en-au/guides/spo-triple-architecture-for-llms/), and [linking your business to the public records other databases point to](https://aemorph.com/en-au/guides/wikidata-entity-linking/).

### What is a page that works for both readers in Australia?

**A page that works for both readers opens each section with one sentence that states the core claim in plain language: an Australian buyer reads it as a direct answer, and the claim still makes sense when a machine reads it without the text around it.** Write it in Australian English, with the terms your buyers use for your category, such as the state you serve or the licence you hold.

## How the Two Readers Get the Same Sentence

**Each section opens with one sentence that carries the claim, then the proof, so the AI system meets the fact first and your Australian buyer gets the reasoning before deciding to contact you.** Aemorph uses headings to organise each section and puts a standalone claim first, so the claim stays clear when the sentence is read outside its paragraph; retrieval boundaries and quotation choices differ from one system to another. A human reader takes the same sentence as a confident answer to the heading, then reads on into the detail.

The method runs in two steps:

1. **Open with the claim.** The first sentence of each main section is a complete, standalone claim: a clear subject, a clear statement and no warm-up before it.
2. **Follow with the proof.** The rest of the section holds the evidence and context a human reader checks before believing the claim, without repeating or watering down the opening.

An opening that holds back the claim makes both readers wait; one that states it serves each reader in the order they need.

| Reader | What they need first | Where they find it | What makes them skip | Test for it |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Australian buyer | Reassurance that the claim is true | The proof and context after the opening sentence | A soft lead-in, a rhetorical question or a story before the point | Read the opening sentence aloud: it answers the heading the way a colleague answers a straight question |
| AI engine | A clean claim that stands on its own | The opening sentence itself | An opening with no clear subject, or one claim spread over several sentences | Copy the opening sentence out on its own: it still states one complete fact |
| Both | One passage, not two versions | The section as written, read once | A proof paragraph that restates or softens the opening claim | Set the opening beside the proof: the proof supports the claim without repeating it |

## Australian Search Puts an AI Answer Between Your Page and Your Buyer

**Google shows AI Overviews across Australia and 45.6% of Australian adults in a [national ADM+S survey](https://www.admscentre.org.au/australia-is-facing-an-ai-divide-new-national-survey-shows/) had recently used a generative AI tool, so the opening sentence of an Australian page is written for a person and for the system that summarises it.** Google held 87.9% of search engine market share in Australia in September 2026 and Bing 9.17% ([StatCounter, Australia](https://gs.statcounter.com/search-engine-market-share/all/australia)), so Aemorph verifies Australian client sites in Bing Webmaster Tools as well as Google Search Console.

| Measure | Figure | Market and date | Source |

## Where This Replaces Generic Content Formulas in Australian Copy

**Generic content advice opens with a hook that wins attention; the Dual-Hook opening wins attention and states the claim in the same sentence, so your page is in contention for the citation as well as the click.** A curiosity hook holds a human reader for one more sentence and leaves the claim out. In the Dual-Hook approach the claim itself is the hook: in Aemorph's working model, a specific, confident statement persuades a buyer more than a vague tease, and it hands a machine a fact to extract. The five openings below, written for an Australian service business, run from the weakest to the one to keep.

| Opening type | Example | Human reaction | What the machine extracts | Verdict |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Rhetorical question | "Is ChatGPT getting your Brisbane practice wrong?" | Curious for one sentence, then waiting for the answer | No fact | Replace with the claim |
| Scene-setting anecdote | "Picture a Perth buyer asking Gemini for a shortlist on a Sunday night." | Mild interest, no answer yet | No fact | Replace with the claim |
| Restated topic | "This page is about AI visibility in Australia." | Skims past it | A topic label, no claim | Replace with the claim |
| Database-style fact | "Australian office: none. Service hours: Australian business hours. Reply time: 24 hours." | Reads it as a form field, not an answer | A clean fact with no tone | Rewrite as a natural sentence |
| Claim-first sentence | "Aemorph serves Australian clients remotely, in Australian business hours, and replies to all communication within 24 hours." | Reads it as a confident, direct answer | The complete claim | Keep |

Every main section on an Aemorph page, this one included, opens the same way: a bold sentence that states the claim, then the detail that earns trust in it.

### Does this make Australian pages read like a report instead of persuasive copy?

**No: the claim-first sentence keeps the tone, specificity and confidence that persuade an Australian reader.** A well-written claim sounds like someone who knows the subject answering a straight question, not like a field in a spreadsheet.

## Put This to Work on Your Australian Pages

**Bought on its own, the [Showstopper Sensor](https://aemorph.com/en-au/services/30-day-showstopper-sensor-sprint/) (Sprint 1), a 30-day showstopper-answer sprint for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, is the standalone start: Aemorph publishes your approved answers to your [showstopper questions](https://aemorph.com/en-au/glossary/#showstopper-questions) as the [LLM info page](https://aemorph.com/en-au/glossary/#llm-info-page) on your site, written claim first.** Showstopper questions are the buyer questions that stop a purchase when AI answers them badly. Your nominated point of contact signs off the answers before Aemorph publishes them, and Sprint 1 does not rewrite your core pages. On the enterprise route, Sprint 1 runs inside Attain or Apex, after the audit and the Influencer Blueprint. Sprint 1 and Sprint 2, [Entity Hardening](https://aemorph.com/en-au/glossary/#entity-hardening-sprint-2) (Aemorph's technical entity SEO sprint), produce your [Brand Codex](https://aemorph.com/en-au/services/brand-codex/), the approved record of your business facts that the work draws on.

**The [Ground Truth Guarantee](https://aemorph.com/en-au/glossary/#ground-truth-guarantee): within 30 days of publishing, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity answer your showstopper questions with the facts in your Brand Codex. If they do not, Aemorph refunds 100% of your Sprint 1 fee and keeps working on the answers for a further 60 days, 90 days in total.**

*Terms: the Ground Truth Guarantee covers Sprint 1 bought on its own; Sprint 1 inside a monthly package carries no refund; it does not cover Sprint 2 ([Entity Hardening](https://aemorph.com/en-au/glossary/#entity-hardening-sprint-2)), search rankings or Google AI Overviews.
